Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 1.93% or 0.5 points to trade at 26.4 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 1.30% or 440.0 points to end at 34200.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 1.20% or 420.0 points to 35300.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 1.67% or 9.0 points to trade at 531.0 in late trade. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 0.76% or 160.0 points to end at 20800.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) shed 0.53% or 180.0 points to 33500.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 16 to 11 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.87% or 1.13 to $131.70 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.31% or 6.00 to hit $1934.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.46% or 19.72 to trade at $1331.48 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.59% to 2923.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.01% to 941.38.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.70% at 91.95.
