Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Public Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.45% or 80.0 points to trade at 5580.0 at the close. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) added 3.77% or 480.0 points to end at 13200.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) was up 0.45% or 5.0 points to 1110.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which lost 2.79% or 380.0 points to trade at 13220.0 in late trade. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) declined 1.77% or 600.0 points to end at 33320.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) shed 0.84% or 120.0 points to 14160.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 11 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.76% or 3.12 to $116.22 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.45% or 51.50 to hit $2155.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 6.40 to trade at $1221.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.44% to 3102.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.31% to 820.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 94.96.
