Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 5.93% or 14.0 points to trade at 250.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 2.27% or 200.0 points to end at 9000.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 1.63% or 60.0 points to 3750.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 6.67% or 20.0 points to trade at 280.0 in late trade. Promigas (CN:PMG) declined 4.75% or 290.0 points to end at 5810.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) shed 3.49% or 520.0 points to 14380.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 13 to 10 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.58% or 1.80 to $112.45 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.00% or 22.00 to hit $2217.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 6.90 to trade at $1225.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.32% to 3198.85, while BRL/COP rose 0.62% to 865.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 96.76.
