Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 1.52% or 1020.0 points to trade at 68200.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 1.47% or 140.0 points to end at 9660.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 1.31% or 280.0 points to 21700.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which lost 1.77% or 600.0 points to trade at 33300.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 0.96% or 10.0 points to end at 1030.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 0.91% or 25.0 points to 2710.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 12 and 8 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.59% or 0.77 to $129.30 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.85% or 16.00 to hit $1873.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 6.36 to trade at $1290.34 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.06% to 2985.26, while BRL/COP fell 0.15% to 942.23.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 93.43.
