Oct 31 (Reuters) - Australia's Origin Energy Ltd ORG.AX reported on Tuesday a 58 percent rise in its quarterly gas production revenue because of increased output from the Australia Pacific liquefied natural gas (APLNG) project and higher gas prices.
Australia's top power and gas retailer said production of natural gas rose 89.1 petajoules equivalent (Pje) in the quarter ended Sept. 30, up from 74.2 Pje in the same period a year earlier.
Revenue was A$678.6 million ($521.50 million) during the quarter, up from A$429.7 million in the same period a year earlier, and better than a UBS forecast of A$655 million.
