Investing.com - The S&P/ASX 200 was slightly lower on Friday, falling just 2.8 points to 6,791.50, easing from two sessions of consecutive gain and finishing the week 2.8% higher.
Telecommunication Services fell 1.3%, with Telstra Corporation Ltd. (ASX:TLS) down 1.3%, Rea Group Ltd (ASX:REA) falling 3.9% and Seek Ltd (ASX:SEK) down 1.2%
Utilities fell 1.2% overall, with Origin Energy Ltd (ASX:ORG) down 0.9%, APA Group (ASX:APA) falling 1.7% and AGL Energy Ltd (ASX:AGL) down 0.5%.
Energy finished 1.2% lower with Woodside Energy Ltd (ASX:WDS) down 0.6%, Santos Ltd (ASX:STO) falling 3%, Beach Energy Ltd (ASX:BPT) down 0.6% and Viva Energy Group Ltd (ASX:VEA) falling 1.5%.
Materials lost 0.2% collectively, with BHP Billiton Ltd (ASX:BHP) down 0.1%, Champion Iron Ltd (ASX:CIA) falling 2.6% while Rio Tinto Ltd (ASX:RIO) and Fortescue Metals Group Ltd (ASX:FMG) added 0.5% and 0.7% apiece.
On the bond markets, Australia 10-Year rates were lower at 3.469% while United States 10-Year yields were at 2.895%.
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 eased 0.1% to 11,263.2.
