Investing.com - The S&P/ASX 200 finished Monday’s session 95 points or 1.4% lower at 6,667.8, partially retracing gains of 4.4% in the previous week as investors retreated across all sectors as bond yields lifted.
Among stocks, losses were led by Utilities, declining 3.2% as Brambles Ltd (ASX:BXB) fell 1.2%, Reece Ltd (ASX:REH) lost 1.7% and Atlas Arteria (ASX:ALX) dipped 1.3%.
Information Technology lost 2.6% collectively, Block Inc (ASX:SQ2) dropped 6.2%, Appen Ltd (ASX:APX) lost 5.6%, Megaport Ltd (ASX:MP1) dipped 6.6%, Novonix Ltd (ASX:NVX) shed 2.4% and Brainchip Holdings Ltd (ASX:BRN) fell 4.4%.
On the bond markets, Australia 10-Year rates were at 3.874% while United States 10-Year yields were at 3.885%.
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 fell 1.7% to 10,918.5.
