Investing.com - The S&P/ASX 200 added 25 points or 0.3% to 7,501.7 during Wednesday’s session, closing at fresh 10-month highs as market participants rotated into the real estate and materials sectors.
Among stocks, Mirvac Group (ASX:MGR) lifted 1.8%, Goodman Group (ASX:GMG) gained 0.7%, Charter Hall Group (ASX:CHC) lifted 2.2% and Stockland Corporation Ltd (ASX:SGP) rallied 2.8%.
Materials also finished higher, with Rio Tinto Ltd (ASX:RIO) up 1.5%, BHP Group Ltd (ASX:BHP) adding 0.5% and Champion Iron Ltd (ASX:CIA) up 3.6%.
Flight Centre Ltd (ASX:FLT) gained 7.9% after completing an A$18 million placement in order to fund its purchase of tour operator company Scott Dunn.
Meanwhile, energy led declines, down 1.2% as Santos Ltd (ASX:STO) lost 1%, Woodside Energy Ltd (ASX:WDS) fell 1.4% and Beach Energy Ltd (ASX:BPT) dipped 1.3%.
On the bond markets, Australia 10-Year rates were at 3.577% while United States 10-Year yields were at 3.51%.
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 added 1% to 12,090.9.
