Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Retail and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.63% or 0.65 points to trade at 7.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061) added 9.46% or 1.50 points to end at 17.35 and Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) was up 9.04% or 3.20 points to 38.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110), which fell 5.00% or 2.75 points to trade at 52.25 at the close. Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) declined 3.95% or 0.30 points to end at 7.30 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) was down 2.94% or 0.20 points to 6.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 109 to 42 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.22% or 0.40 to $31.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.80% or 0.63 to hit $34.41 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.74% or 8.40 to trade at $1149.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.94% to 4.2052, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.71% at 96.56.
