Investing.com -- Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) supplier Jabil is up 1.6% after strong guidance and quarterly results.
Sales for the first fiscal quarter 2021 are estimated at between $6.7 billion and $7.3 billion, and diluted earnings per share of between 79 cents and $1.02.
Net revenue in the most recent quarter totaled $7.3 billion with diluted earnings per share of 44 cents.
Jabil Circuit Inc (NYSE:JBL) supplies casings for iPhones and iPads.
“As we exit FY20 and look ahead, I am excited with the momentum underway in our business,” said Chief Financial Officer Mike Dastoor. “Several of our key businesses remain especially strong including Mobility, Healthcare and Cloud."
The unit that supplies Apple saw sales up 17% in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2020 from the same period a year earlier.
