Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Basic Industry and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.63%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Tirta Mahakam Resources Tbk (JK:TIRT), which rose 16.67% or 20 points to trade at 140 at the close. Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk (JK:LCGP) added 14.36% or 56 points to end at 446 and Bayu Buana Tbk (JK:BAYU) was up 13.04% or 150 points to 1300 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (JK:MFMI), which lost 10.00% or 30 points to trade at 270 in late trade. Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI) declined 9.90% or 95 points to end at 865 and Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR) shed 9.88% or 17.00 points to 155.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 181 to 112 and 91 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.77% or 0.38 to $49.10 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.09% or 0.54 to hit $49.05 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.18% or 2.15 to trade at $1218.25 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was unchanged 0.00% to 13554.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.16% to 9832.10.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 95.28.
