Investing.com - Housing starts in Japan rose unexpectedly in the last quarter, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said that Japanese Housing Starts rose to a seasonally adjusted 8.4%, from 7.8% in the preceding quarter.
Analysts had expected Japanese Housing Starts to fall to -1.3% in the last quarter.
