Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.58% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 2.41% or 5.8 points to trade at 246.9 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 1.41% or 8.5 points to end at 612.5 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.00% or 0.70 points to 70.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 9.14% or 47.4 points to trade at 471.1 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 2.26% or 210 points to end at 9070 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 2.21% or 215 points to 9535.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 83 to 51 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.53% or 0.24 to $45.13 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.11% or 0.05 to hit $46.20 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1278.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.7500, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4419.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 97.90.
