Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which rose 3.43% or 2.1 points to trade at 64.8 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 2.75% or 5.7 points to end at 213.2 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was up 2.32% or 3.36 points to 148.46 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which lost 1.04% or 2.50 points to trade at 238.20 in late trade. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 0.50% or 3.0 points to end at 592.0 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) shed 0.40% or 0.25 points to 62.85.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 379 to 308 and 97 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.43% or 0.20 to $46.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.48% or 0.23 to hit $48.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.44 to trade at $1265.46 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.59% to 9.7446, while USD/SEK fell 0.53% to 8.7035.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 97.06.
