Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Mining and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Alliances (CS:ADI), which rose 7.19% or 3 points to trade at 46 at the close. Meanwhile, Sonasid (CS:SOND) added 1.93% or 9 points to end at 468 and Delta Holding S.A (CS:DHO) was up 1.57% or 0.30 points to 19.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Timar (CS:TIM), which fell 6.00% or 22.80 points to trade at 357.20 at the close. M2M Group (CS:M2M) declined 5.99% or 13.70 points to end at 214.75 and Snep (CS:SNP) was down 5.69% or 5.50 points to 91.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 18 to 13 and 1 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 2.77% or 0.87 to $30.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 2.63% or 0.84 to hit $31.04 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 1.00% or 11.00 to trade at $1085.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.42% to 10.7670, while USD/MAD rose 0.61% to 9.9371.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.35% at 99.27.
