Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.44% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 0.40% or 2.0 points to trade at 497.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 0.36% or 10.0 points to end at 2750.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) was up 0.31% or 30.0 points to 9850.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 1.40% or 160.0 points to trade at 11260.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 1.31% or 13.0 points to end at 981.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) shed 1.09% or 15.0 points to 1360.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 24 to 3 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.14% or 2.66 to $126.83 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 3.74% or 77.50 to hit $2147.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.72% or 9.26 to trade at $1292.26 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.15% to 2919.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.02% to 921.66.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 92.95.
