Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Communication, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Avner L (TA:AVNRp), which rose 4.41% or 11.1 points to trade at 263.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) added 4.39% or 58 points to end at 1379 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 3.07% or 128 points to 4302 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq (TA:BEZQ), which fell 3.98% or 33.7 points to trade at 812.3 at the close. Osem (TA:OSEM) declined 3.38% or 242 points to end at 6914 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was down 2.46% or 330 points to 13110.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 189 to 137 and 125 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.72% or 0.30 to $42.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.47% or 0.66 to hit $45.31 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.73% or 7.90 to trade at $1068.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.35% to 3.8771, while EUR/ILS fell 0.54% to 4.1168.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.26% at 99.91.
