Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Transport, Metal Products & Machinery and Real Estate Investments sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 1.11%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Sise Cam (IS:SISE), which rose 5.36% or 0.170 points to trade at 3.340 at the close. Meanwhile, Hurriyet Gzt. (IS:HURGZ) added 4.92% or 0.030 points to end at 0.640 and Tofas Oto. Fab. (IS:TOASO) was up 4.90% or 0.90 points to 19.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ihlas Holding (IS:IHLAS), which fell 4.00% or 0.010 points to trade at 0.250 at the close. Tat Konserve (IS:TATGD) declined 2.61% or 0.150 points to end at 5.600 and Besiktas Futbol Yat. (IS:BJKAS) was down 2.26% or 0.05 points to 2.16.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 200 to 195 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tofas Oto. Fab. (IS:TOASO) rose to all time highs; rising 4.90% or 0.90 to 19.25.
Gold for December delivery was down 0.41% or 4.70 to $1142.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.00% or 0.46 to hit $46.52 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 1.40% or 0.69 to trade at $49.48 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.68% to 2.9166, while EUR/TRY fell 0.23% to 3.2143.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.50% at 96.88.
