Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.82%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 0.88% or 0.65 points to trade at 74.80 at the close. Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) added 0.76% or 0.29 points to end at 38.35 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was up 0.56% or 1.4 points to 252.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 4.44% or 4.40 points to trade at 94.70 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) declined 2.55% or 2.30 points to end at 88.00 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) shed 2.04% or 4.30 points to 206.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 398 to 217 and 47 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.30% or 0.67 to $50.68 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.37% or 0.73 to hit $52.41 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.07% or 0.85 to trade at $1259.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 1.22% to 9.7557, while USD/SEK rose 1.85% to 8.8145.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.62% at 97.51.
