Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.84% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 1.29% or 760.0 points to trade at 59800.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 0.44% or 40.0 points to end at 9100.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 0.34% or 5.0 points to 1480.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 4.85% or 360.0 points to trade at 7060.0 at the close. Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) declined 4.52% or 230.0 points to end at 4860.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was down 2.51% or 35.0 points to 1360.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 21 to 7 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) fell to all time lows; falling 4.52% or 230.0 to 4860.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.30% or 0.35 to $116.67 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.75% or 24.50 to hit $3292.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.41% or 4.50 to trade at $1084.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.00% to 2942.05, while BRL/COP fell 0.27% to 782.17.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.22% at 99.05.
