Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Consumer Services and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 2.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which rose 0.15% or 0.07 points to trade at 46.66 at the close. ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) fell 0.29% or 0.5 points to end at 172.0 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) was down 1.12% or 1.40 points to 123.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which lost 3.79% or 0.85 points to trade at 21.56 in late trade. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) declined 3.39% or 6.8 points to end at 193.9 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) shed 3.07% or 4.80 points to 151.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 472 to 107 and 33 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.27% or 1.15 to $49.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.27% or 1.18 to hit $50.77 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1273.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.92% to 9.3360, while USD/SEK rose 1.22% to 8.2744.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.30% at 94.38.
