Investing.com - The number of building permits issued in Canada fell last month, official data showed on Thursday.

In a report, Statistics Canada said that Canadian building permits fell to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of -2.5%, from 5.8% in the preceding month whose figure was revised up from 5.4%.

Analysts had expected Canadian building permits to fall to last month.
