Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Construction & Building Materials, Transport and Mining sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were CDM (CS:CDM), which rose 6.00% or 28 points to trade at 488 at the close. Meanwhile, BMCI (CS:BMCI) added 6.00% or 33 points to end at 555 and Aluminum du Maroc SA (CS:ALU) was up 5.86% or 69 points to 1245 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alliances (CS:ADI), which fell 10.00% or 4 points to trade at 39 at the close. Total Maroc SA (CS:TMA) declined 6.00% or 35.7 points to end at 559.3 and S2M (CS:S2M) was down 6.00% or 12.30 points to 192.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 25 to 16 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alliances (CS:ADI) fell to all time lows; falling 10.00% or 4 to 39. Shares in BMCI (CS:BMCI) rose to 5-year lows; gaining 6.00% or 33 to 555.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.30% or 0.58 to $44.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.29% or 0.61 to hit $47.08 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 2.26% or 25.20 to trade at $1138.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.44% to 10.9320, while USD/MAD fell 0.47% to 9.6780.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.79% at 95.58.
