Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Services, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 68.26% or 1355.0 points to trade at 3340.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 0.75% or 60.0 points to end at 8030.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 0.64% or 100.0 points to 15780.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which lost 2.76% or 1080.0 points to trade at 38120.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.84% or 35.0 points to end at 1865.0 and Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) shed 1.80% or 720.0 points to 39180.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 12 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.60% or 0.77 to $126.65 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 1.86% or 55.00 to hit $2898.50 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.91% or 11.30 to trade at $1224.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.15% to 3034.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.99% to 852.36.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.10% at 94.56.
