Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 5.02% or 51.0 points to trade at 1067.0 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 1.00% or 1.8 points to end at 182.5 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 0.48% or 1.4 points to 294.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which lost 2.40% or 0.83 points to trade at 33.79 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 2.00% or 170 points to end at 8345 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 1.93% or 170 points to 8640.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 85 to 62 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.95% or 0.46 to $47.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.19% or 0.58 to hit $48.35 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.75% or 22.35 to trade at $1252.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.6376, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4363.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.11% at 95.30.
