Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Services, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 3.46% or 320.0 points to trade at 9580.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 2.28% or 90.0 points to end at 4040.0 and Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) was up 1.08% or 20.0 points to 1880.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which lost 1.04% or 400.0 points to trade at 37980.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 0.95% or 240.0 points to end at 25080.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) shed 0.91% or 100.0 points to 10880.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 14 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 2.59% or 3.50 to $138.60 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.04% or 32.00 to hit $3117.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.63% or 8.55 to trade at $1357.35 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.06% to 2911.72, while BRL/COP fell 0.93% to 899.07.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.62% at 94.10.
