Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.20%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 1.45% or 0.52 points to trade at 36.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Modern Times Group MTG AB ser. B (ST:MTGBs) added 0.90% or 2.1 points to end at 234.4 and Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) was up 0.72% or 0.40 points to 56.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which fell 8.86% or 15.50 points to trade at 159.40 at the close. Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) declined 2.57% or 2.00 points to end at 75.75 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs) was down 2.43% or 4.8 points to 190.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 357 to 185 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.57% or 2.00 to 75.75.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.01% or 0.47 to $46.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.51% or 0.26 to hit $49.44 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.03% or 12.00 to trade at $1177.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.46% to 9.3050, while USD/SEK fell 0.10% to 8.1326.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.58% at 94.25.
