The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 0.75% or 10.0 points to trade at 1350.0 at the close. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) added 0.48% or 180.0 points to end at 37440.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 0.38% or 40.0 points to 10660.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which lost 12.83% or 365.0 points to trade at 2480.0 in late trade. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 3.13% or 110.0 points to end at 3410.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 2.90% or 240.0 points to 8050.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 7 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.13% or 0.16 to $122.22 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 1.08% or 32.50 to hit $3050.50 , while the April Gold contract rose 0.91% or 11.40 to trade at $1268.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.58% to 3185.55, while BRL/COP rose 1.11% to 879.23.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.07% at 96.15.
