Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Real Estate Development and Cement sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.76%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which rose 9.55% or 0.95 points to trade at 10.90 at the close. Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) added 9.54% or 3.50 points to end at 40.20 and Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) was up 9.51% or 3.30 points to 38.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150), which lost 8.39% or 1.80 points to trade at 19.65 in late trade. Tabuk Cement Co. (SE:3090) declined 8.19% or 1.45 points to end at 16.25 and Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) shed 5.78% or 3.25 points to 53.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 90 to 62 and 16 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.02% or 0.01 to $46.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.80% or 0.38 to hit $47.39 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 2.27% or 28.80 to trade at $1295.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.86% to 4.2937, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.76% at 93.02.
