Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.50% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.44% or 17.0 points to trade at 1194.0 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 0.75% or 2.8 points to end at 373.8 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 0.67% or 55 points to 8295 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 0.73% or 3.1 points to trade at 420.0 in late trade. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) declined 0.63% or 0.9 points to end at 142.3 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 0.21% or 1.0 points to 475.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 90 to 58 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.59% or 0.29 to $49.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.72% or 0.36 to hit $50.31 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.76% or 9.20 to trade at $1207.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 6.6776, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4375.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 95.72.
