Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.97%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS), which rose 1.40% or 6.0 points to trade at 436.0 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) added 1.22% or 3.3 points to end at 272.8 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 1.18% or 3.3 points to 282.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb), which lost 2.56% or 9.5 points to trade at 362.0 in late trade. Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb) declined 1.43% or 4.5 points to end at 309.6 and William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) shed 1.11% or 7.5 points to 668.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 77 to 58 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 3.21% or 1.37 to $44.01 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.00% or 1.33 to hit $45.65 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.23% or 2.85 to trade at $1243.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.34% to 6.5817, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4421.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.33% at 94.43.
