Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 2.10% or 6.5 points to trade at 316.1 at the close. William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) added 1.94% or 13.0 points to end at 681.5 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 1.17% or 5.7 points to 494.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 2.89% or 7.7 points to trade at 258.4 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 0.91% or 2.30 points to end at 250.80 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 0.42% or 1.2 points to 281.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 98 to 46 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.23% or 0.54 to $44.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.43% or 0.65 to hit $46.23 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.60% or 7.45 to trade at $1250.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.5743, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4430.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 94.39.
