Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Auto & components and Media sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 1.49%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Aker Solutions OL (OSLO:AKSOL), which rose 1.71% or 0.53 points to trade at 31.54 at the close. Meanwhile, Seadrill Limited (OSLO:SDRL) added 1.16% or 0.7 points to end at 56.5 and Akastor ASA (OSLO:AKAS) was up 0.44% or 0.1 points to 11.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OSLO:NWC), which fell 4.43% or 15.1 points to trade at 327.8 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OSLO:GOGLT) declined 4.35% or 1.10 points to end at 24.20 and Storebrand ASA (OSLO:STB) was down 3.96% or 1.24 points to 30.11.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 129 to 48 and 2 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 3.22% or 1.51 to $45.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.89% or 0.93 to hit $47.99 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.72% or 8.20 to trade at $1124.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.23% to 9.2258, while USD/NOK rose 0.82% to 8.2942.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.48% at 96.50.
