Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as in the sectors propelled shares .

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Stroc Industrie (CS:STR), which rose 4.28% or 2.00 points to trade at 48.75 at the close. Sonasid (CS:SOND) added 2.94% or 10 points to end at 350 and Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA) was up 2.47% or 0.59 points to 24.49 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Micro Data SA (CS:MIC), which lost 8.59% or 10.80 points to trade at 115.00 in late trade. Snep (CS:SNP) declined 4.09% or 3.43 points to end at 80.40 and Total Maroc SA (CS:TMA) shed 3.10% or 29.9 points to 935.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 12 and 11 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.01% or 0.86 to $41.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.80% or 0.81 to hit $44.17 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.32% or 4.25 to trade at $1350.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.16% to 10.9060, while USD/MAD fell 0.32% to 9.7621.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.44% at 95.64.
