Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb), which rose 2.08% or 3.4 points to trade at 166.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) added 0.57% or 0.60 points to end at 106.70 and Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) was up 0.46% or 0.9 points to 194.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which fell 1.82% or 1.00 points to trade at 53.95 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 1.53% or 8.5 points to end at 547.0 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was down 1.49% or 1.35 points to 89.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 284 to 153 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.98% or 0.91 to $45.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.26% or 0.61 to hit $48.27 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.47% or 5.20 to trade at $1104.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 1.04% to 9.3368, while USD/SEK fell 1.52% to 8.2370.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.34% at 95.23.
