Investing.com – Portugal equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Utilities, Telecoms and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 lost 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the PSI 20 were Ibersol SGPS (LS:IBS), which rose 3.13% or 0.440 points to trade at 14.480 at the close. Corticeira Amorim (LS:CORA) added 2.33% or 0.250 points to end at 11.000 and The Navigator Company SA (LS:NVGR) was up 1.73% or 0.0660 points to 3.8860 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pharol SGPS SA (LS:PHRA), which lost 4.84% or 0.0120 points to trade at 0.2360 in late trade. Nos SGPS SA (LS:NOS) declined 3.24% or 0.1760 points to end at 5.2580 and Mota Engil (LS:MOTA) shed 1.81% or 0.0430 points to 2.3340.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 17 to 16 and 4 ended unchanged on the Lisbon Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for July delivery was up 0.29% or 0.15 to $51.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 0.31% or 0.15 to hit $49.12 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 2.18 to trade at $1268.08 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.21% to 1.0896, while EUR/GBP fell 0.14% to 0.8414.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 98.90.
