Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 1.71% or 0.115 points to trade at 6.845 at the close. Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) added 1.63% or 0.74 points to end at 46.23 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 0.85% or 0.34 points to 40.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1), which lost 0.98% or 0.040 points to trade at 4.040 in late trade. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) declined 0.89% or 0.41 points to end at 45.42 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) shed 0.79% or 0.32 points to 40.14.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 88 to 48 and 20 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was down 1.58% or 0.92 to $57.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 1.25% or 0.65 to hit $51.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 6.82 to trade at $1289.82 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.46% to 1.1841, while EUR/GBP rose 0.74% to 0.8992.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 93.04.
