Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 1.75% or 260.0 points to trade at 15120.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 1.61% or 65.0 points to end at 4100.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 0.69% or 80.0 points to 11660.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which lost 3.42% or 1000.0 points to trade at 28280.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 3.06% or 820.0 points to end at 26000.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 2.96% or 75.0 points to 2460.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 4 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.05% or 0.07 to $148.75 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.53% or 15.00 to hit $2812.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.36% or 4.75 to trade at $1313.25 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.27% to 2937.13, while BRL/COP rose 1.36% to 899.03.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.83% at 96.07.
