Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Services, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.05% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.65% or 160.0 points to trade at 9860.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) added 1.03% or 0.2 points to end at 19.6 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 0.85% or 240.0 points to 28600.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which lost 0.81% or 160.0 points to trade at 19540.0 in late trade. Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) declined 0.77% or 200.0 points to end at 25900.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 0.75% or 100.0 points to 13300.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 10 and 8 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.64% or 0.92 to $145.30 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.43% or 13.00 to hit $3020.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.03% or 0.45 to trade at $1324.15 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.58% to 2879.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.60% to 880.97.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.81% at 95.45.
