Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Technology, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.68% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Nice (TA:NICE), which rose 3.11% or 770 points to trade at 25530 at the close. Meanwhile, Elbit Systems (TA:ESLT) added 2.06% or 650 points to end at 32170 and Frutarom (TA:FRUT) was up 1.90% or 300 points to 16100 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA), which fell 1.21% or 180 points to trade at 14700 at the close. Avner L (TA:AVNRp) declined 0.62% or 1.8 points to end at 286.6 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was down 0.45% or 11 points to 2409.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 192 to 132 and 123 ended unchanged.
Shares in ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) fell to 5-year lows; down 0.45% or 11 to 2409.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.02% or 0.01 to $45.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.55% or 0.28 to hit $50.27 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.66% or 7.20 to trade at $1083.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.40% to 3.8176, while EUR/ILS rose 0.23% to 4.1474.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 98.22.
