Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which rose 9.45% or 2.90 points to trade at 33.60 at the close. Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) added 6.56% or 0.40 points to end at 6.50 and Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) was up 4.61% or 0.65 points to 14.75 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260), which lost 3.13% or 0.50 points to trade at 15.45 in late trade. Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040) declined 2.66% or 0.35 points to end at 12.80 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) shed 2.66% or 1.75 points to 64.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 100 to 40 and 29 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.63% or 1.22 to $47.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.49% or 1.19 to hit $48.96 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.52% or 6.95 to trade at $1317.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.04% to 4.1333, while USD/SAR fell 0.45% to 3.7342.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.47% at 96.10.
