Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 1.25% or 0.3 points to trade at 24.3 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 0.75% or 10.0 points to end at 1350.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 0.38% or 40.0 points to 10640.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which lost 1.06% or 320.0 points to trade at 30000.0 in late trade. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 1.03% or 300.0 points to end at 28760.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) shed 1.00% or 120.0 points to 11840.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 13 to 8 and 10 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.33% or 0.46 to $138.77 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.07% or 1.50 to hit $2092.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.30 to trade at $1246.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.42% to 2874.33, while BRL/COP rose 0.33% to 919.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 100.36.
