Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Mining, Miscellaneous Industry and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk (JK:LCGP), which rose 34.97% or 50 points to trade at 193 at the close. Pelayaran Nelly Dwi Putri Tbk (JK:NELY) added 31.03% or 27 points to end at 114 and Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT) was up 27.45% or 42 points to 195 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kabelindo Murni Tbk (JK:KBLM), which lost 10.00% or 52 points to trade at 468 in late trade. Mulia Industrindo Tbk (JK:MLIA) declined 9.68% or 60 points to end at 560 and Sigmagold Inti Perkasa Tbk (JK:TMPI) shed 9.68% or 9 points to 84.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 162 to 128 and 96 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.45% or 0.64 to $44.71 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.12% or 0.51 to hit $46.09 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.48% or 19.35 to trade at $1285.15 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.24% to 13089.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.64% to 10060.65.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.77% at 97.69.
