Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.80%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 4.49% or 20.0 points to trade at 465.0 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 3.72% or 6.6 points to end at 183.8 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 0.24% or 0.08 points to 33.26 in late trade.
Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which lost 4.63% or 6.2 points to trade at 127.8 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 2.92% or 1.90 points to end at 63.10 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 2.18% or 8.1 points to 362.9.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 84 to 52 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.50% or 0.23 to $45.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.05% or 0.50 to hit $47.27 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 2.27% or 28.70 to trade at $1295.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.76% to 6.5065, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4432.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.63% at 93.14.
