Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.40%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb), which rose 2.03% or 9.3 points to trade at 467.0 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) added 0.45% or 1.0 points to end at 221.2 and Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) was down 0.21% or 0.6 points to 279.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS), which fell 5.31% or 18.2 points to trade at 324.4 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) declined 4.18% or 3.15 points to end at 72.20 and TDC A/S (COP:TDC) was down 4.07% or 1.49 points to 35.15.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 118 to 34 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in TDC A/S (COP:TDC) fell to 5-year lows; falling 4.07% or 1.49 to 35.15.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.58% or 0.26 to $44.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.81% or 0.39 to hit $48.13 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.82% or 20.60 to trade at $1152.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.46% to 6.6396, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4614.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.38% at 96.03.
