Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS), which rose 1.60% or 600.0 points to trade at 38000.0 at the close. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) added 0.93% or 340.0 points to end at 36900.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) was up 0.84% or 10.0 points to 1200.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 4.43% or 160.0 points to trade at 3455.0 in late trade. Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) declined 2.19% or 40.0 points to end at 1790.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 1.95% or 200.0 points to 10060.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 14 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.34% or 1.91 to $144.23 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.53% or 34.50 to hit $2290.50 , while the February Gold contract rose 0.30% or 3.45 to trade at $1140.85 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.30% to 3015.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.11% to 896.22.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 103.08.
