Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Energy sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.92%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL), which rose 8.55% or 4.08 points to trade at 51.80 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 1.68% or 4.4 points to end at 266.9 and Schibsted ASA B (OL:SBSTB) was up 0.74% or 1.50 points to 205.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which lost 6.02% or 2.82 points to trade at 44.06 in late trade. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 3.60% or 0.27 points to end at 7.22 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) shed 3.39% or 0.4 points to 11.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 114 to 55 and 31 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.23% or 1.08 to $47.32 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.75% or 0.90 to hit $50.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.55 to trade at $1203.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.36% to 9.1594, while USD/NOK rose 0.55% to 8.6136.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 101.42.
