Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 0.69% or 5.0 points to trade at 724.5 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 0.57% or 3.5 points to end at 614.5 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was up 0.38% or 1.0 points to 265.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 3.59% or 13.8 points to trade at 370.2 in late trade. Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) declined 2.36% or 7.20 points to end at 297.40 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) shed 1.90% or 7.4 points to 381.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 71 to 39 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.41% or 0.69 to $49.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.94% or 1.00 to hit $52.49 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 9.28 to trade at $1269.28 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.60% to 6.3298, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4361.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.58% at 93.23.
