Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.51% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which fell 0.84% or 4.5 points to trade at 533.5 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) fell 0.90% or 6.0 points to end at 663.0 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was down 1.11% or 0.37 points to 33.08 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV (CO:DSV), which fell 3.87% or 10.5 points to trade at 261.1 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 3.21% or 305 points to end at 9195 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 3.19% or 26.5 points to 803.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 130 to 35 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.21% or 305 to 9195. Shares in TDC A/S (CO:TDC) fell to 5-year lows; down 1.11% or 0.37 to 33.08.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 3.13% or 1.15 to $35.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 5.02% or 2.00 to hit $37.73 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.26% or 2.80 to trade at $1074.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.47% to 6.7871, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4615.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.38% at 97.54.
