Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Transport and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 9.84% or 1.55 points to trade at 17.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) added 6.10% or 0.90 points to end at 15.65 and Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) was up 5.13% or 3.00 points to 61.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002), which fell 3.85% or 4.50 points to trade at 112.50 at the close. Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) declined 3.74% or 1.20 points to end at 30.90 and Dur Hospitality (SE:4010) was down 3.61% or 1.00 points to 26.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 104 to 62.
Shares in Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.85% or 4.50 to 112.50.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.36% or 0.16 to $44.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.55% or 0.27 to hit $47.73 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.19% or 2.20 to trade at $1165.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.01% to 4.1294, while USD/SAR rose 0.06% to 3.7496.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.03% at 97.16.
